In addition to photography, Lori has a true love for music of all kinds. If you can’t find her at home with her family, most often she’s somewhere photographing a musician or a band. Her work has been used by many of the artists she shoots and was recently used in Rolling Stone magazine. Her love of black and white portraiture is obvious with a quick look through her gallery. Lori’s ‘old school’ education began with shooting film and printing in her closet-turned-darkroom in an apartment in Los Angeles. Her love of – and appreciation for -- the art of photography continues today in the digital world.

Lori lives in Santa Barbara with her husband and son (and with her enlarger still tucked safely away in the garage), where she enjoys the sunshine and the beach and does her best to stay fit and healthy. As you’re reading this, she’s considering surfing lessons. It’s never too late, right?
